Where mobiles and social media has globalised the people, face-to-face conversation and family attachments are becoming sporadic with the time. Fake news from social media has even destroyed perspectives. Social media has become an enjoyable addiction these days, which makes us unaware of how much we have gotten used to it. Cyber bullying, hacking, scamming, criminal activities, Trolling, Abusing and cheating are the dark-side of social media. Nothing remains private in people’s lives and now, they like to share everything.

Adolescents' and Youths' risk for problems like depression and anxiety increases as the amount of time they spend on social media increases.
Tik Tok is a great caper of modern times. It is destroying the youth. It is inciting the youth to go to any lengths to get fame. Its all about fame and people are doing cheap publicity stunt on all over this Platform. They are not only wasting their precious time with this nonsense but also crossing all limits of morality. There is just vulgarity and cheap acts out there but if you know the limits and you dont cross them its okay for entertainment purpose. Many vulgar trends are being made on this app, these video spread like blaze afterwards. Many watch them out of curiosity, even if they did not want to. Humans being curious, get affected by what is going on in their surroundings. After watching such obscene videos, you may feel like you want do something similar, because everyone’s doing it and what’s the harm in it if you do it too. If something makes you famous and you are gaining fame and popular in night, then people will just follow the trend. This can be seen when the guys in the videos are made up like girls which is shameful and one of the many signs of doomsday. Very few people must have noticed this, ‘girls dressed up as boys and boys dressed up as girls’. I really don't know what kind of entertainment they wants for the public. Entertainment based on talent i.e. Singing, Dancing or be in any kind art makes sense, But merely Lip sync to a video requires no talent. Their Action doesn't serve society for any greater good In face it's the other-way around.

On TikTok, users spend hours a day scrolling through their “For You Page”, where they see videos made by celebs or by users like themselves. The “For You Page” features different kinds of videos like comedy, singing, lip syncing, and of course, videos that focus on body image. The comment section on a TikTok video is what makes a video so harmful. Below these videos you will find mean comments of users which talks about standard and perfect body figure, they will be commenting on if you are fat, ugly or not to the body standard what they have set on their mind. Often you will be encountered with jokes or rude comments are made by the users. There is also colour abuse, whether you meets the beauty norms of their expectations. These comments appear so frequently that it is near impossible to avoid them if you are scrolling through the videos.
Most Frustrating part of the TikTok what i find is It doesn't filter any of the Toxic, Harmful, Defaming, Obscene, Violence any of these contents. People with different age group and in Different regions have different sentiments. Some may find these toxic acts as entertainment but Cruelty to animals, Gender impartiality, Mocking the inferiors, Open Vulgarity are Just the way you spread negativity in the society.
TikTok has rolled into a hugely controversial social media in this era. In the name of entertainment you can't just serve trash to the public just to gain view and fame. It is so frustrating because people usually spend about 3-7 hours every day. Although everything has its pros and cons where as its up to us individuals how we deal with it. It gave us some actors, dancers who succeeded in their field, which is real talent. Nevertheless, If we see the big picture Tiktok is a dent in the process of our Human capitalization and Demographic dividend. This app doesn't create any intellectuals rather it destroys the precious time and productivity what we have.
